Loves Park is a city in Winnebago County, Illinois, United States. In recent years, the city spread across the eastern Winnebago county line and now reaches into Boone County, Illinois. The population was 20,044 at the 2000 census. A special Census conducted in 2005 revealed the total population of Loves Park, IL to have grown to 22,476. Loves Park is part of the Rockford, Illinois Metropolitan Statistical Area.
