¶1To compel respondent to make return to an appeal attempted to be taken in a case determined in the Police Court of Detroit.
¶2Denied October 17, 1890.
¶3Held, that Sec. 23, of Act No. 161, Laws of 1885, as amended by Act. No. 287, Laws of 1887, limiting the right of appeal to cases where the sentence of imprisonment exceeds twenty days, or the fine imposed exceeds $25 is not unconstitutional.
