¶1This was an action upon a bill of exchange drawn in this State upon a person resident in Philadelphia, and protested for nonpayment; it had not the words "for value received," and
¶2By the Court.
¶3The plaintiff is not entitled to the ten per cent (162) damages under the Act of 1796, cap. 22, by reason of the omission of these words.
