¶1delivered the opinion of the Court:
¶2■ The contract relied upon by plaintiffs, taken in connection with its consideration, was clearly against public policy, and a fraud upon the persons who were to pay for the improvement of the street. The circuit court was right in holding that the same formed no valid foundation for the action, and the judgment of the Appellate Court in the case is therefore affirmed.
¶3Judgment affirmed.
