¶1(dissenting)—I concur with the views of Judge Tolman, and would add that the law is universal that a sentence by a court that does not comply with the statute providing for sentence is void. The majority will now have courts sentencing women to *569places forbidden by statute for certain classes of women to be committed.
¶2Tbis decision is judicial legislation, reviving laws that tbe legislature superseded and never intended to be revived.
