Smith v. Stansberry

U.S. Courts of Appeals

Decided April 20, 2005

U.S. Courts of Appeals · decided 2005-04-20

Applies 28 U.S.C. § 2241 (Antiterrorism and Effective Death Penalty Act of 1996)

Decided 2005-04-20

PER CURIAM:

¶1William C. Smith appeals the district court’s order denying relief on his petition filed under 28 U.S.C. § 2241 (2000). We have reviewed the record and find no reversible error. Accordingly, we affirm for the reasons stated by the district court. See Smith v. Stansberry, No. CA-04-557-5-FL (E.D.N.C. Oct. 28, 2004). We dispense with oral argument because the facts and legal contentions are adequately presented in the materials before the court and argument would not aid the decisional process.
