ON the 26th July, 1821, the Ordinary of Charleston district granted letters of administration on the personal estate of John Phillips White, deceased, to the defendant.

¶2I am not aware of any law that requires the publication of a citation in the newspapers, and none such has been adduced. The mode resorted to in this case has been immemorially and almost universally practised.
¶3The motion must be refused.
