15 Jones & S. 536

Thompson v. Hoffman

The Superior Court of New York City · decided 1881-04-04

Appeal from judgment entered upon the verdict of a jury, and from order' denying defendant’s motion upon the minutes for a new trial.

Decided 1881-04-04

Br the Court. — Freedman, J.

¶1The case was fully and fairly tried, and submitted to the jury under a charge to which no valid exception lies, and the jury having found for the plaintiff, their verdict should not be disturbed. It was a case for the jury, and there is no merit in any of the exceptions.

¶2The judgment and order should be affirmed, with costs.

¶3Truax, J., concurred.
