Most-quoted passages
The sentences later courts lift from this opinion, ranked by how many decisions quote each — the parts of the opinion doing the work. These counts are smaller than the citation total above because most of the 12 citing decisions cite the case generally; a passage count includes only decisions quoting that exact language verbatim.

Crawford“[T]hat a motion to strike the plaintiff’s petition in a damage action should have been sustained on the ground that the petition showed on its face that the attorney who filed it was regularly admitted to the practice of law in the courts of another state, and there was thus a violation of the statute. . . . The court said that any pleading filed which on its face showed a violation of the statute was the same as no pleading at all, and the court was expressly prohibited from "entertaining" it. 45 A.L.R.2d 1065 at p. 1067 .”
