Most-quoted passages
The sentences later courts lift from this opinion, ranked by how many decisions quote each — the parts of the opinion doing the work. These counts are smaller than the citation total above because most of the 6 citing decisions cite the case generally; a passage count includes only decisions quoting that exact language verbatim.
“Section 1-14-204(4) makes it clear that unless the person choosing to be a candidate has been registered as a member of the political party he seeks to represent [for twelve months], he may not be designated as a party candidate by the assembly. It follows that he may not be the party candidate, even though he may have been mistakenly designated by the county assembly as a primary nominee and even though he may have been selected by the voters at the primary election to be the party candidate.”
