¶2¶ 1311 concur. I express my appreciation and thanks to our court assistant appointed by this court to brief and argue the issues presented in this mandatory statutory appeal. I am mindful of countless hours of effort expended by him working through voluminous records and researching the difficult and sensitive issues in this capital case. Ml of this was done by him without monetary compensation.
