¶1CONCURRING STATEMENT BY

FORD ELLIOTT, P.J.:

¶2¶ 1 I respectfully disagree that the inadvertent and improper remark made by the witness regarding appellant’s prior incarceration alone would warrant a new trial. I believe an appropriate cautionary instruction would have precluded the necessity of a mistrial under the circumstances of this case. However, it is because the instruction given by the trial court was woefully inadequate to address the prejudice caused that I agree a new trial is warranted.
