¶2I would add only that in Ruehle, supra, we pointed out that “An accord and satisfaction is predicated upon an agreement between the parties based upon a consideration … (Emphasis supplied.) We in no way depart from that essential requirement of sufficient consideration. A mere oral agreement absent consideration would not be sufficient.
