Sutton v. O'Brien

U.S. Courts of Appeals

Decided January 24, 2007

U.S. Courts of Appeals · decided 2007-01-24

Applies 28 U.S.C. § 2241 (Antiterrorism and Effective Death Penalty Act of 1996)

Decided 2007-01-24

PER CURIAM:

¶1Robert Lamont Sutton, a federal prisoner, appeals the district court’s order denying relief on his 28 U.S.C. § 2241 (2000) petition. We have reviewed the record and find no reversible error. Accordingly, we affirm for the reasons stated by the district court. Sutton v. O’Brien, No. 7:06-cv-00477-jlk, 2006 WL 2431435 (W.D.Va. Aug. 21, 2006). We dispense with oral argument because the facts and legal contentions are adequately presented in the materials before the court and argument would not aid the decisional process.

¶2AFFIRMED.
