¶1dissenting.

¶2The last statement of the law charged to the jury ended with the charge that they could “acquit the defendant upon the reasonable doubt and proof of good character generated in your minds.” How, in light of the fact that the appellant relied heavily on his good character as a defense, can this erroneous instruction be harmless?
