¶1(dissenting).
¶2I agree that the verdict is excessive but I do not agree that we should determine the amount of the remittitur. Since the award in this case is peculiarly dependent upon the credibility of the injured party, I would remand to enable the trial judge, after hearing, to reduce the award, subject to further review at the option of any party, as proposed by the dissenting opinion in Auger v. Rofshus, 267 Minn. 87, 125 N. W. (2d) 159.
