¶1Conviction was for manslaughter, with the punishment assessed at five years in - the penitentiary. The appellant files his personal affidavit, advising the court that he does not desire to prosecute his appeal further, and requesting the court to dismiss the same, and in compliance therewith the appeal is dismissed.
