¶1The defendant's petition for certification to appeal from the Appellate Court, 187 Conn.App. 813, 204 A.3d 4, is granted, limited to the following issue:
¶2"Did the Appellate Court correctly conclude that the trial court properly precluded the defendant from cross-examining the state's key witness about the specific facts underlying that witness' prior misdemeanor convictions?"
