334 Ark. 223

Camargo v. State

Supreme Court of Arkansas

Decided July 16, 1998

Supreme Court of Arkansas · decided 1998-07-16

Relies on Rogers v. State

Decided 1998-07-16

Per Curiam.

¶1Appellant, Rafael Camargo, by his attorney, Robert C. Marquette, has filed a motion for rule on the clerk. His attorney admits that the record was tendered late due to a mistake on his part.

¶2 We find that such error, admittedly made by the attorney for a criminal defendant, is good cause to grant the motion. See In Re: Belated Appeals in Criminal Cases, 265 Ark. 964 (1979) (per curiam). The motion is therefore granted.

¶3A copy of this opinion will be forwarded to the Committee on Professional Conduct.
