State v. Jones

Supreme Court of Louisiana

Decided September 30, 1977

Supreme Court of Louisiana · decided 1977-09-30

Decided 1977-09-30

¶1In re: Karolina G. Jones applying for writs of certiorari, mandamus, prohibition and review.

¶2*1273Writ denied. The trial judge did not abuse his discretion.

TATE, J.,

¶3concurs. While cross-examination as to violation of sequestration should have been permitted, I am not persuaded that under the circumstances reflected, the accused was prejudiced in this bench trial.

CALOGERO, J.,

¶4dissents, disallowance of cross-examination was prejudicial error in my view.
