¶2I respectfully agree with Justice McLaren that the analysis regarding the denial of the motion to suppress is overly broad. The exception cited in the majority opinion and Justice McLaren’s special concurrence, section 103 — l(j) (725 ILCS 5/103 — l(j) (West 2002)), is clear on its face, and we all agree that it was properly applied in this case. In my opinion, the additional discussion concerning the “general population” argument is ill-advised and not necessary to resolve this issue.
¶3I otherwise agree with the analysis of the majority opinion.
