Supreme Court of Louisiana

Decided December 18, 1978

Supreme Court of Louisiana · decided 1978-12-18

Decided 1978-12-18

¶1In re: Kevin Seward, applying for writs of certiorari, prohibition, mandamus and for a stay order. Parish of Orleans.

¶2Writ granted. The ruling on the motion to recuse is reversed, and the recusal is granted. Accordingly, the ruling on the motion to suppress is vacated and set aside and it is ordered that the motion be heard before the judge to whom it is re-allotted. Our ruling is without prejudice to the relator’s right to move to set aside any other ruling of the recused judge.
