Alam v. Holder

U.S. Courts of Appeals

Decided October 3, 2011

U.S. Courts of Appeals · decided 2011-10-03

Decided 2011-10-03

¶1Petition denied by unpublished PER CURIAM opinion.

¶2Unpublished opinions are not binding precedent in this circuit.

PER CURIAM:

¶3Syed Said Alam, a native and citizen of Bangladesh, petitions for review of an order of the Board of Immigration Appeals (Board) dismissing his appeal of the Immigration Judge’s decision denying his motion to reopen and rescind his in absentia deportation order. We have reviewed the administrative record and find no abuse of discretion in the denial of relief on Alam’s motion. See 8 C.F.R. § 1003.23(b) (2011). We accordingly deny the petition for review for the reasons stated by the Board. See In re: Alam, (B.I.A. Mar. 9, 2011). We dispense with oral argument because the facts and legal contentions are adequately presented in the materials before the court and argument would not aid the decisional process.

¶4 PETITION DENIED.
