¶2R.S. 15:571.10(B) gives the prisoner the right to credit for work under Paragraph B and gives the sheriff the power to control (discretion) the award of credit. A fair reading of the statute does not give the sheriff the option to institute such a system.
¶3The interpretation of Paragraph A is correct.
