WARDEN, J.,

¶1dissenting.

¶2I do not think that the sweeping language contained in State v. Garcia, 288 Or 413, 605 P2d 670 (1980), holding that a trial judge must affirmatively state reasons for imposing consecutive sentences requires remanding this case for resentencing. The trial judge’s reasons were obvious. Though succinctly stated, they were adequate.

¶3I would not remand this case for resentencing. I would affirm.
