¶1We agree with the appellant that the trial court erred by modifying a prior child support order in the absence of a pleading requesting modification. See Pace v. Pace, 471 So.2d 680 (Fla. 3d DCA 1985); Sweetland v. Gauntlett, 460 So.2d 570 (Fla. 3d DCA 1984).
¶2The order under review is accordingly reversed.
¶3Reversed.
