Most-quoted passages
The sentences later courts lift from this opinion, ranked by how many decisions quote each — the parts of the opinion doing the work. These counts are smaller than the citation total above because most of the 30 citing decisions cite the case generally; a passage count includes only decisions quoting that exact language verbatim.
““Error is also alleged in the action of the court in overruling the motions to discharge the codefendants, Harry White and Smith, so that they might become witnesses for the defendant. This, however, was a matter, based upon the sufficiency of evidence, within the discretion of the court, and we think there was sufficient evidence to sustain the ruling of the court.
