“Although sexual intercourse has been held to be a thing of value, there is simply no evidence in this record which shows that defendant forced the victim to engage in sexual intercourse “in order to secure [her] release ...” In State v. Moore, 432 So.2d 209 (La. 1983), the supreme court found that an essential element of aggravated kidnapping is the intent to force the victim or another to give up a thing of value “in order to secure a release.” ...
