Supreme Court of Louisiana · decided 1986-09-26

Relies on State v. Williams

Decided 1986-09-26

¶1In re Williams, Octave; Hall, Tyronne; Applying for Writ of Certiorari and/or Review; to the Court of Appeal, Fourth Circuit, Number KA-1876; Parish of Orleans Criminal District Court Div. “H” Number 294-517.

¶2Prior report: La.App. 4th DCA, 492 So.2d 1268.

¶3Not considered. Not timely filed. Relator may seek relief by means of post conviction application to district court.

DENNIS, J.,

¶4would grant and consider the applicant’s complaint that the evidence was constitutionally insufficient to support a conviction under the due process clause and Jackson v. Virginia. The record is available to us and is complete. It has already been reviewed by the Court of Appeal. No good purpose is served by forcing these relators to go through the process of another round of hearings in the lower courts.
