¶1The offense is unlawfully driving an automobile upon the public highway while under the influence • of intoxicating liquor; punishment fixed1 at confinement in the county jail for a period of 60 days and the payment of a fine of $100. Upon the written request of the appellant, duly verified by his affidavit, the appeal is ordered dismissed.
