Most-quoted passages
The sentences later courts lift from this opinion, ranked by how many decisions quote each — the parts of the opinion doing the work. These counts are smaller than the citation total above because most of the 2 citing decisions cite the case generally; a passage count includes only decisions quoting that exact language verbatim.
““Such local boards, * * * shall have power within their respective jurisdictions to hear and determine, subject to the right of appeal * * *, all questions or claims with respect to inclusion for, or exemption or deferment from, training and service under this Act of all individuals within the jurisdiction of such local boards. The decisions of such local hoards shall be final except where an appeal is authorized in accordance with such rules and regulations as the President may prescribe.””
