¶1(concurring in part and dissenting in part).
¶2I concur excepting for division VI to which I dissent for the reasons expressed by Justice Lavorato’s dissent in State v. Izzolena, 609 N.W.2d 541 (Iowa 2000), in which I joined. I would vacate the restitution order and remand so that the district court could then determine the amount of restitution in a meaningful hearing.
