¶2I agree with the majority to remand this cause for an evidentiary hearing on petitioner’s claim of ineffective assistance of trial counsel. However, I would also direct the circuit court to hold an evidentiary hearing on the appellant’s issue concerning the reasonable notice by the State of its intention to enhance his sentence because this issue is not procedurally barred.
