¶1The rule to show cause why the appeal should not be dismissed as untimely is discharged. See State ex rel. Shevin v. District Court of Appeal, Third District, 316 So.2d 50 (Fla.1975). On the merits, the order denying the appellant’s rule 3.850 motion is affirmed because the motion was itself untimely filed. See Fla.R.Crim.P. 3.850(b).
