¶1We are unable to say that the lower court’s refusal to afford temporary financial relief to appellant was an abuse of discretion. As for an interim award of fees, we can find no indication that a proper request pursuant to section 61.16, Florida Statutes (Supp.1994) was presented to the lower court or ruled upon.
