Most-quoted passages
The sentences later courts lift from this opinion, ranked by how many decisions quote each — the parts of the opinion doing the work. These counts are smaller than the citation total above because most of the 5 citing decisions cite the case generally; a passage count includes only decisions quoting that exact language verbatim.
“This case proceeded to trial on May 10, 2005. Plaintiff presented its evidence and rested on May 16, 2005. Defendant thereafter moved for directed verdict on all claims asserted by plaintiff pursuant to Rule 50 of the Ohio Rules of Civil Procedure. After construing the evidence presented most strongly in favor of the plaintiff, this court finds that reasonable minds could come to but one conclusion, and that conclusion is adverse to the plaintiff. Thus, defendant's motion for directed verdict is hereby granted and judgment is entered in favor of the defendant on all claims at plaintiff's costs.”
