““(a) Stay of Enforcement of Judgment for Money Only. (1) An appeal stays the enforcement of a judgment for money only if a notice of appeal is filed within 30 days after the entry of the judgment appealed from and a bond in a reasonable amount to secure the appellee is presented, approved, and filed within the same 30 days or within any extension of time granted ***. * * * (b) Stay of Enforcement of Judgments and Appealable Orders by Order of Court. (1) On notice and motion, and an opportunity for opposing parties to be heard, the trial court, or the reviewing court *** may stay pending appeal the enforcement of a judgment for money only not stayed by compliance with paragraph (a) of this rule***. * * * (3) The stay, whether granted by the trial or reviewing court, shall be conditioned upon such terms as are just. A bond may be required in any case, and in the case of a judgment for money, or a stay for the protection of interests in property, shall be required.””
