Render v. State

District Court of Appeal of Florida

Decided December 30, 1998

District Court of Appeal of Florida · decided 1998-12-30

Relies on Melbourne v. State · Joiner v. State

Decided 1998-12-30

PER CURIAM.

¶1Dederic Render appeals his convictions for battery and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. The appellant’s argument that the trial court erred in denying a peremptory challenge was not preserved for appellate review. See Joiner v. State, 618 So.2d 174, 176 (Fla.1993). Even if the issue were preserved, the trial court was within its discretion in denying the challenge. See Melbourne v. State, 679 So.2d 759, 765 (Fla.1996).

¶2Affirmed.
