SHAW, Judge,

¶1concurring in the result.

¶2I adhere to the views I expressed in my special writing in Casey v. State, [Ms. CR-98-1661, March 16, 2001] — So.2d - (Ala.Crim.App.2001); therefore, I disagree with the statement in this Court’s unpublished memorandum quoted from the main opinion in Casey that a full pardon ‘is irrelevant for purposes of considering pri- or convictions for sentence enhancement purposes.’ ” Otherwise, I concur.
