Washington, 466 U.S. 668, 694, 104 S.Ct. 2052, 80 L.Ed.2d 674 (1984) (to be entitled to relief, the defendant must show that the deficient performance prejudiced the defense and that there is a reasonable probability that, but for the deficiency, the result of the proceeding would have been different).
