¶2Some of the arguments presented by the state appear to be meritorious. However, we are precluded from addressing them due to the state’s failure to seek review of the court of appeal’s decision of April 18, 2001. (State v. Ste. Marie, 97-0168 (La.App. 3 Cir. 4/18/01), 801 So.2d 424).
