¶2Without evidence of fraudulent concealment, the three years peremptive period bars plaintiffs claims against Dr. Mayeux. I am without power to change the law even if I deem it unfair in this instance, particularly considering that many patients who are victims of medical malpractice, through no fault of their own, may not discover the wrongful conduct until long after the law closes the door on their claims.
