¶2I concur in the result. For the reasons I expressed in Alaska Housing Finance Cor*1120poration v. Salvucci, 950 P.2d 1126, (Alaska 1997), I believe it unnecessary to rely on the legislative history of AS 39.90.120(a) to resolve the issue of the availability of punitive damages under the Whistleblower Act.
