Most-quoted passages
The sentences later courts lift from this opinion, ranked by how many decisions quote each — the parts of the opinion doing the work. These counts are smaller than the citation total above because most of the 19 citing decisions cite the case generally; a passage count includes only decisions quoting that exact language verbatim.
“A "special prosecutor” with the consent of the district attorney, assists the district attorney in the investigation and prosecution of a particular case, but the district attorney is responsible for the prosecution, control and management of the case. The "special prosecutor” need not be appointed by the trial court and is not required to take the constitutional oath of office where he acts with the permission of the district attorney.”

He shall receive compensation in the same amount and manner as an attorney appointed to represent an indigent person.”
