¶1The petition seeking belated appeal is denied. See Powell v. Fla. Dep’t of Corr., 727 So.2d 1103 (Fla. 1st DCA 1999) (denying a petition for belated appeal and stating that proceedings resulting in orders denying an inmate’s petition for writ of mandamus/habeas corpus were civil in nature, and thus, appellate rule governing petitions seeking belated appeal in criminal cases did not apply).
