“[t]he crime of conspiracy consists of an express or implied agreement between two or more persons to commit a criminal offense. Both an agreement and an intention to commit an offense are necessary elements of the crime.... [E]vi-dence that a defendant ... had knowledge of the crime ... or even aided others in the commission of the crime is insufficient, by itself, to support a con spiracy conviction.
