Inauspicious.

Applied, in the Roman law, to a day on which it was unlawful to administer Negatio conclusiouis est error in lege. Denial of a conclusion is error in law. To deny a conclusion of law is bad pleading. Denials must be of facts; not merely of legal conclusions drawn as inferences from facts alleged and not denied.
