adj. Taking no part in a war; on neither side; impartial or indiiferent in a contest. Neutral, n.: a third nation, which has no concern with, and should take no part in, a war. Neutrality: the condition of a nation which refrains from taking part in a war between two other powers; the obligation to avoid assisting one belligerent against the other.
