Many times; often. after a first and second writ of the same kind have been issued and returned not executed. The distinctive clause is, in the Latin form, prcecipimus tibi, sicut pluries prcecipimus, quod, &c, — we command you, as we have many times commanded you, that, &o. This clause is literally translated in the English forms, and the word pluries has been adopted as the name of the clause and of the writ itself; the second writ in order being termed an alias writ, the next is a pluries writ, and others, i£ a distinction is required, are called second pluries, third pluries, &c., successively.
