V. Storing is the keeping merchandise for safe custody, to be delivered in the same condition as when received, where the safe-keeping is the principal object of deposit, and not the consumption or sale.

6, § 4, mean any house not an office or a shop, or any room in a steam or other boat, in which goods, wares, and merchandise are usually deposited for safe-keeping or for sale.
